Vegetables provide a variety of vitamins and minerals that are hard to get from meat alone (and the same goes for meat - provides vitamins that are hard to get from veggies alone). The key to staying healthy, and therefore at your top mental performance is to eat a wide variety of foods. Vegetarians can get everything they need from veggies because they have taken an interest in their health, and they are careful to balance their diets to get what they need. For the average person who doen't know much, it is best to eat a lot of different things.
You say you don't like veggies, maybe that's because you have never had them done well before. Try getting a different veggie each week at the grocery store and try it in a bunch of different way (raw, cooked, etc.)
Good Luck

the maximum energy present in any source of food is plants/veggies bcoz theyre the only producers which can produce their own food and others are dependent on them for their food.....when this energy is transferred to other consumer most part of it gets destroyed and transferred back to atmosphere in the form of heat.....plant starch is the most easily digested in human bodies....whereas meat takes more thn 4-5 days to get digested and so veggies get faster converted into blood which goes to your brain cells and make them work efficiently........

Yes!!! I am living, breathing proof of that.
So smart .......that I raised my child vegetarian. She will raise her children vegetarian...and before you know it, McDonald's will only serve processed vegetables, zillions of cows will not go to slaughterhouses, more people in the world will be fed good food because farmland will be more productively used. People will not fight over land.
Yes, my brain will be responsible for world peace!!!
