My grandfather's Spanakopita, there is nothing better.
Bonus: when he's in the kitchen he'll get nostalgic and tell stories about growing up in Greece.

[note: I'm not Greek. My biological grandfather died long before I was born and my grandmother remarried. Not that it's at all important.]

Hot and Sour soup, it's warm and has eggs like you find in egg drop soup, tender pork, sweet crunchy bamboo shoots, and my favorite ingredient of the dish, tree fungus. Plus spices. Great stuff. Now I want to go to the China 1 down the street, bye.

Mutton Biryani, Persian style, with aromatic spices, mutton chunks cooked with long grain basmati rice, wit some soft potato, fried onions and garam masala, topped with a boiled egg, and garnished with cashew nuts, coriander,
since it is cooked in dum, that is the utensil's mouth sealed with dough, and then on slow fire, it retains it's taste and flavour.
you must try it in any good indian restaurant, or try making at home also.

Tzvingi (May be spelled wrong)

My mother in law makes this greek donut hole type snack with honey and almonds. She has to make a second tray just for me, I could eat them all day long. They are light and sweet and somehow satisfying all at the same time.

Dim sum has got to be by far the best food I've ever had. The wonton wrapper is crunchy, and you bite into meat and spices, with soy sauce...so yum yum.
