There is a Korean side dish made of Honey and Cod. Does anyone know the correct Korean transliteration for this dish? Best I could come up with is BU GO CHE but no one understands me .

Haha sadly, I know what you're talking about and I have no idea why everyone else keeps insisting you mean bulgogi...

Bu Guh means dried pollack, not cod.

Che refers to the way it has been sliced or torn up, into lean little pieces.

Bu Go makes it sound like, well, bu goe, with a long "o" but it's actually pronounced more like bu guh, with a short "uh" sound.

Google Korean Recipes. My Hubby was stationed in Korea, and that's what he does when he needs a recipe. Bulgogi is a beef main dish, by the way.
