Depends on the STD and it depends on how you feel about the person.
Some people won't date others who have HIV/AIDS regardless, while other people are happily married to someone who has the virus.
I have two incurable STDS - genital herpes and HPV. My fiance (boyfriend at the time) didn't have either of them. He still decided to date me even though I had both of them.
It really depends on the situation you are in. If you can see yourself being with this person and possibly getting the STD than yeah why not date them? But if you can't see yourself being with them long, or possibly getting the STD and having to live with it the rest of your life (in some cases) then it's probably a good idea to end the relationship.

honestly what does the STD have to do with dating, if u dont plan on having sex with this person then I think it is okay, but if this person is someone u plan on having intercourse with or u are starting to feel stong feelings for this person then being with them might not be a great option

I found out i got herpes from my boyfriend. But he was still supportive and stood by me. We are still together. :) He loves me and i Love him so no matter what we helped each other.
