Eggs are considered a protein. Meat tends to refer to products that come from previously living beings, and since the eggs we eat don't get the chance to become a living being, it's not a meat. At least not in my book.

A protein that forms meat, isn't an egg technically alive and turns into meat? Seems freaky to me for someone that doesn't eat meat to eat eggs, to me it's the same thing.

They are not meat as they are not composed of flesh but they do contain various proteins. Proteins come from many different sources other than meat including milk, nuts, beans....

They are protein. Unless they are fertalized, they are not considered meat.
Vegetarians eat eggs, while Vegans do not, because they are animal products.

That depends on if you're pro-life or pro-choice. Are eggs unborn potential chickens or are they just cells? I say eat them either way. They taste good.
