Where do you find free food? I like Sam's Club and other large retailers like Whole Foods. Occasionally, I find coupon for a free chicken sandwich at chick-fil-a. Anyone have any pointers on how to be a total cheap %#$@?

If you have a low yearly income, you can get food stamps which you can redeem at a participating supermarket for free groceries. For free samples, you can probably go to Costco or Sam's Club. Coupons are available for places such as McDonald's or Burger King for free meals.

Hare Krishna temples often serve delicious free Indian dinners if you don't mind listening to their guru first, then eating on the floor.
Also go to art gallery open houses, openings, etc., if you want free wine & munchies.

I heard Wal-Mart put their hot food out for REALLY CHEAP when the hot foods are closing. Free dinners at churches are held everywhere for the poor.
