Does anybody know whether the organic chicken purchased from "supermarkets" is injected with fluids to bulk it out, like what they do with non-organic.
It's just that the organic chicken I buy from my Organic shop looks more solid and flater.
Please don't try to convrert me to a Vegan. it won't work. I'm trying top do my bit against the establishment with other methods.
But I'm a meater and that's that (Only chicken and fish mind you (so i'm nearly there)
Oh and nearly no dairy products (I don't fancy them somatic cells)

Some of them do. Organic just means that no chemicals or pesticides were used during production. So organic chicken means that the chickens were raised on an organic diet and the meat was not processed with any chemicals. It can mean that they are still injected with a solution to "plump" the chicken and add more flavor, moisture, etc. But the solution will also be organic, usually a salt-water solution.

I don't know for sure but I think organic chicken is injected with some sort of growth hormone, but it's probably still better for you than regular chicken. I say keep eating organic and try to see if you can contact the people who raise the chickens and find out from them. Good luck.
