yes, your blood sugar will most likely be elevated the next morning. you might try getting some exercise after the over eating, to help use up some of the glucose. go for a walk or something like that. trying to eat in moderation, watch portion sizes, etc. is best. but realize that you are human and allowed to be so -- an occasional over-eating is OK as long as it's not too often. Congratulations on being able to lose the weight and treat with diet and exercise only! Be sure to follow up with checks of your hemoglobin A1c maybe twice/year. Diabetes is usually a progressive disease and gets worse over time. However, there are some people who can control with diet and exercise for a lifetime. They are rare, but you may be one> Again, great job!

If you overeat one day, you may notice your sugar readings a bit high for the next day or so. If you are keeping track of things you can make some adjustments in your diet and it wll get back in line. It can take up to about a week to get things truly under control again if you have too much to eat. I don't know why it is so long, but sometimes it is.

Overeating isn't a great idea for diabetics, though it is rather tempting. It's great that you have it under control with diet alone and it sounds like you are on the right track.

Keep up with the testing, watch your diet, enjoy the yoga class, and stay active. The more you put into life, the more you get out of it.

I'm a 45 year old woman and was recently diagnosed as being a borderline diabetic. My doctor prescribed some medication, but before filling it I decided to do some research on the internet which led me to the methods. After reading this ebook and applying the methods, my scepticism turned to 100% belief. I noticed that my energy levels increased significantly and I felt more rested in the morning, my symptoms started going away.

I am very happy to tell you that I have been feeling better than I have felt in years and my doctor informed me that he will be taking me off my prescriptions if I keep this up.

I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

Congratulations on losing weight and getting off your diabetes medicine! To continue your good work try to incorporate the three categories of exercise into your lifestyle. 1--aerobic exercise, 2--weight bearing exercise, 3--stretching (Yoga is great for seniors). Check with your doctor before making big changes. As for your sugar going up the next day,,,, it is quite possible. What did you eat too much of? If it was steamed broccoli----- no problem! HaHaHa... Seriously though,,, if you are going to exercise, check your sugar first, and don't exercise if it is over 250. The ADA has some good info on safe exercise. And always check with your doctor before you make any major changes. Good Luck!

Again, there are a whole lot of factors that will influence this. If your weight is down and you have had a long period of glucose control without medication or insulin, it may not hurt you ... however, I would still strongly recommend that although your diabetes has been brought under control, it can still come back to bite you, particularly as you are older your system is more vulnerable.

In places more open to alternative medicine, ozone therapy is used to lower blood sugar. Very few doctors in the U.S. will recommend this. You can buy a home ozonizer water purifier and drink freshly ozonated water before breakfast and after dinner. And as often as you can. You'll see the drop in sugar levels, high blood pressure and most other complaints.
