Father has mesothelioma and can not sleep in bed. He has been sleeping in his recliner for months and wants to be in his bed but a regular pillow does not support him enough to breathe.

this can be a simple fix, we use something similar in the hospital but it costs $$$$. go to a foam outlet buy a piece of soft/medium/hard foam. these can be bought in the shape of a wedge or of a cube. cut the cube on a slant from one corner to the other. you will now have two wedges.

look in the phone book for foam material or try a search on line for
( triangular "soft foam" shape).. this should yield some paydirt to locate what you want

last way. go to a home health (DME equipment) and buy one from them. these are common items for what you are wanting.

Many pharmacies, especially those that also carry durable medical equipment, have foam wedge pillows. I think they are somewhere around 20 bucks and come in a few standard sizes. If you cannot find one, most pharmacies have the ability to easily get one in stock within 24 hours if you ask. Best of luck!

If your neighborhood has a medical supplies store, I would go there for a pillow.
