I heard that there is a product that you can by that will slow down the oxidizing process. That is what turns the apples brown. Also I heard that lemon juice works. I know that if you put lemon juice on the bottom of artichokes they will not turn brown. So I would figure the same would hold true. Good luck!

I was using lemon juice. I love sprite so one day I was out of lemon juice while slicing apples, opened a sprite poured on the apples, they did not turn brown and were very sweet for a apple dessert. Try it!

Any kind of citrus juice will keep the apples from turning brown. Even soaking them in a little apple juice will help.

lemon juice keeps any food from turning brown. Add a little extra sugar if you are using them in a recipe to counter the acidity of the lemon juice.

there really is no way of not making them turn brown..but you can delay the process. just add some lemon juice to some water and let them sit in there. the acid slows down the oxidation process.

Like when you're slicing them for pie or a buffet? Add lemon juice to icy cold water, add sliced apples let stand. Drain, serve.
