Tea in moderation is fine. Cranberry juice is very good for kidney ailments! Avoid foods that are high in sodium content, such as: cereal, potato chips, processed cheese, canned vegetables, tomato sauce. Use unsalted butter or margarine. Check the nutrition facts on all food labels. Also, avoid "fast foods", all menu items are loaded with salt.

He must find out what STAGE of kidney disease he is in - and ask his doctor for specific recommendations and medications to help him.

He should AVOID: Tylenol / Acetaminophin; Ibufrofen / Advil; and alcohol - as all of these are POISON to the kidneys (and liver, as well). They will accelerate damage to the organs. Also avoid caffeine as it will stimulate the kidneys.

RECOMMENDED: CoQ10 (up to 800 mg per day) with natural oil soluble vitamin E (mixed natural form) and fish oil.

Yes, especially Dr, Shutzs's Kidney and Bladder tea!
www.1800herbdoc.com-------not so much black tea if thats what he drinks! Go Organic! Diuretics are good but educate yourself on what kinds are best(watermelon, parsley, green, red, black tea.
