I also have asthma. I have discovered that odors, of strong smelling food,of cooking fumes, the garbage when i forget to take it out.tend to make me wheeze.
I have found something beside albuterol to get rid of the wheezing. Take an empty nasal spray bottle, the kind you squeeze, not the kind you pump. Fill it about half full. Breathe out, looking down, open your mouth and aim nozzle to the back of the throat. As you breathe in, give the bottle 4 quick short squeezes. With The fine spray, you will only be using a minimal amount.
I do this from four to six times a day and have cut my albuterol down to once or twice a day, and no need anymore for Advair. Both of my sisters are doing this and all three of us swear by it.
To your good health,
Hope

In my excitement to help you I forgot to tell you what this wonderful product is. Well, it is any brand, over the counter HYDROGEN PEROXIDE, 6% I sure hope you read this again.
Hope

Eating too much at one time or eating too fast or eating something that you are allergic to can cause wheezing. Sometimes it can come in handy - it got me out of having to wash the dishes when it was my turn when i was a kid. Realistically, you need to monitor how often you are using a rescue inhaler. If you are using it a lot - 1 or more times a day, then you need to see a doctor - one that specializes in asthma and allergies and get your asthma under control.

I feel your pain. I've had asthma for 14 years now and have seen several doctors. The truth is, there is no known cure for asthma at the moment. But the symptoms can be prevented. It really depends on what causes your brother's asthma. Mine is usually dust and hot weather. But I think the universal method is using the control inhaler.

I cured my Asthma the natural way?

Please call the doctors office about this. People can die if they try to self treat or ignore asthma. There are many things a good lung doctor and even some primary care doctors can do to help with asthma. There is no need to suffer or risk death, asthma is very treatable. I have had it for more than 30 years.

i would suggest you to not to take rice and curd as they will aggravate your symptoms and also avoid sour fruits like oranges, lemon . And avoid junk food also. Why don't you try Ayurvedic medicines for asthma, lot of people benefit from that. My aunt had severe asthma but she is better now after sticking to herbal treatment and using herbal mixture--Pranrakshak Churana, try logging on to www.planetayurveda.com . I'm sure you will feel better. Do consult some ayurvedic physician on that site.

My husband has very chronic asthma. He says, you might have an allergic reaction to whatever it is you're eating. Allergies trigger asthma you know? Talk to your Dr. and see if they can do any allergy testing. Then ask for preventative medication for your asthma. I hope you feel better!

You may want to have a doctor check you out. They may put you on an inhaler which helps some what but you may as well get use to it as physical movement seems to initiate what you are talking about. I am an asthmatic with COPD and have the problem continuously.
