I have been all over Mexico, come to think of it, I have not seen a "Taco Bell" but plenty of taquerias. Taco Bell is most definitley an Americanized thing.

i've been to mexico many times and i never noticed if they had any Taco Bells. but if they did have them there, i doubt ppl would eat there unless they like their mexican food americanized. you'll see a lot of food stands out on the streets though, which i think are WAY better than eating taco bell.

They opened a Taco Bell in Mexico City, way back in 1992, with plans to open more of them in Mexico. But I have no idea whether or not it's still there.

That would be like trying to find Chun King canned goods in Asian markets. Not Asian markets in the States, I mean markets in Asia. Chun King was founded by an Italian-American, btw.
Taco Bell (or Taco Smell, as I like calling it) is greasy and fatty and yummy AMERICAN fast food. No knock to TB, but Mexican food it certainly ain't. I've never heard of TB being in Mexico.

They opened on in Mexico City in 1992, but I'm not sure how well it did and if it's still there. However, they did have to change their motto. It used to be "Run for the border!" before that. Now it's "Think outside the bun."
