But they have inhalers. If they have the condition it's their personal responsibilitie. Like some one who is allergic to direct sunlight. Most arguments are smell is offending, from people who don't smoke. But I never heard from an asthmatics mouth it triggers my asthma, and I can't breathe.

Second hand smoke does not just affect asthma folks. It affects all who breath air. It just make asthma more irritated or congested. It is chemicals in the air. (toxic) and it lands on objects that people touch also. Have you ever been in a smokers home and seen the brownish sludge that coats the home. (furniture, plants, mirrors and such) Plus the SMELL?

My brother is an asthmatic and after ten years his asthma has shown no sign of improving. He has been to several doctors but they didn't help much.

If you want a proven, all-natural way to cure your asthma, without having to pay for useless medications with harmful side-effects, then this is the most important page you'll ever read.

How do you know it won't cause them to "get" asthma? Maybe someone's asthma was dormant & then 2ndhand smoke triggered it. I did not "get" asthma until I was 30 when I moved to a very smoggy city. I moved away but I still have asthma. I am sensitive to all smoke & so is my asthmatic son. Also, secondhand smoke does longterm damage to the lungs.

second hand smoke and smoking itself triggers asthma for many asthmatics, but not all. Each person is different and will have different triggers, but smoke is a BIG one. I can't even breath in smoke for a grill without having problems, and cigarette smoke is alot worse.

Second hand smoke can trigger an asthma attack. An asthmatics lungs and bronchial tubes are more susceptible to irritants than other peoples,so second hand smoke can and does trigger an asthma attack.

i would suggest you to not to take rice and curd as they will aggravate your symptoms and also avoid sour fruits like oranges, lemon . And avoid junk food also. Why don't you try Ayurvedic medicines for asthma, lot of people benefit from that. My aunt had severe asthma but she is better now after sticking to herbal treatment and using herbal mixture--Pranrakshak Churana, try logging on to www.planetayurveda.com . I'm sure you will feel better. Do consult some ayurvedic physician on that site.

It wouldn't cause them to get asthma, but it would worsen their asthma by causing their airways to constrict in response to this trigger. That's why they should ban smoking. LONG LIVE CLEAN AIR!

Call it a fad to single out another person for their habits. I have COPD and grew up with smokers. Now I have Perfect strangers 4 feet away from me " outdoors" asking me to get rid of my cigarette. Well I have news for everyone, I'd like to tell them to step back because they smell and they are offending my sense of smell and reason. Could that work..? Ten years from now, it'll be the thing to tell people who snitch on others to watch their backs.. everyone will join in to snitch..haha..
