When i touch my face or arms sometimes i give myself hives.
I know this is a major sign of ADD. Also if my socks are not pulled up right I get itchy. I heard there is a name for it. A few members of my family have the same thing..

No i am not diseased so do not say so, and do not tell me to go to the doctors.

I just want to know what it is called.

It is closely linked with ADD, so that might help finding out what it's called.

I know I am not mentally ill, this doesn't happen all the time. It is not my makeup I ruled that out by not wearing any foundation or powders. My mother, and 2 sisters, also both of my aunts have this. (No one seems to remember the name it is complicated). I searched for everything on hives, ADD, but nothing seems to be adding up.

If you can completely rule out allergies to dust, you might consider your bath soap or clothing detergent as possible allergens (things to which you are allergic) as well as caffeine intake, medications you're on which cause skin sensitivity....it's really hard to diagnose something like that without talking to a dermatologist. If you're absolutely sure it's not an allergic reaction, then I'd look into the potential for nervous disorders (NOT mental problems, but conditions which affect your nervous system.) Good luck.

Some people with allergies can have this response just due to nerves or stress. Using an allergy cream can help the hives, and a moisturizer for sensitive skin for the legs can help. But learning to deal with stress is something that will take time and experimentation.
