Yes, they are yummy. A survey was done and even meat eaters didnt know they were vegetarian.

Sure and yes. Just remember that there are differences between the different vegedogs just like the deadstuff ones. If you want to fool meateaters use the Morningstar Farms frozen ones. Boil them in a quart of water 'doctored' with a tablespoon of hickory liquid smoke and 1/4th tsp of cayenne pepper and they'll never ever know!

My favorites (in preference order):
Tofu pups (not even close to meat ones but so what!)
Worthington leanies (frozen over canned when available)(tastes like all pork dogs)
MS farms (see above)
Yves veggie dogs (similar to ms farms but only 6 in a pack)
Smartdogs (ONLY when grilled)

Yes, I have and it was the nastiest tastin' thing I have ever eaten.
If you are tryin' to lose weight or something just eat the turkey dogs, chicken has a yucky texture to it. You want a pop you know!
The soy dogs need much improvement!

Yes - eat soy sparingly though...as you would meat. They will both sit in you for a long time if not properly eaten along with enough good greens and fruits.

Yes.

Not a lot lately though. I used to live at a place, and when they'd make the soy dogs they'd taste really good.

I don't live there anymore, though. And I can't stand them the way I cook 'em.

I've tried Tofu Pups and SmartDogs. They're ok, I like the Tofu Pups better. Grill them if you can.

Yes, I had one when I went to camp. It was overcooked and burnt, and frankly, I don't ever want to try one again.

However the meatless meatballs I had there were pretty good.
