Previously I nearly died from a pretzel. Does anyone know if there is a safe way to eat pretzels?

Well the best way to safely eat them is to chew them full and rinse it down with something to drink, if its carbonated its better cause the bubbles cause the food to float rather then sink.

Break them. I did that all the time. I grab a pretzel and break it in pieces.

Don't use your front teeth to bite them. Use your molars (chewing teeth on each side).
Take your time chewing or allow them to soften up in your mouth for a moment before swallowing.
