You wont have a heart attack until you are over fifty. Try to work on your weight and definitely kick the cigs. Now you are young but you will regret not taking care of yourself when you are 40. Good luck and hang out with slim, fun loving people!

It depends on how you live your lifestyle. I had a heart attack very young (29) and I had no family history. BUt I did drink once in awhile and I am overweight. After having the heart attack now I have other issues...Hypertension, Diabetes, ETC. If you are worried see your family doctor and see what you need to do to be healthy. The chances are slim at sucha young age but I am proof that it does happen.

you're young. you have to stop worrying. you are not severely overweight, but you do need to lose a little. the ideal body weight for your frame is between 140 to 160... but of course that doesn't mean you should keep drinking and smoking. you have to stop those. eat healthy and exercise. as for smoking... how many packs a day do you smoke and how many years have you been smoking? let's say you were to smoke 1 pack a day, it takes 25 years for you to have a disease that's irreversible (cannot be cured). so if you were to smoke 2 packs a day, that makes it 12.5 years. so don't smoke.

trivia: do you know the number one cause of death among smokers? not emphysema, not cancer (those are number 2 and 3) it's heart attack. so stop smoking.

you are only 19, a heart attact probablity at your age is very low. you would need to be under a magnificent amount of stress of have blocked artery (due to high plaque buildup and high cholesterol). dont stress yourself. the reason why i say this is that if you do get a heart attact (from stress) then you might not survive it. the younger the person is when they get a heart attack the more likely they are to die because their heart is young and cant take that stress too well. so just chill, and u are right, its all in your head....its all in your head....

If you keep cholesterol under control according to your age and height, you need not worry about anything including heart attack. Brisk walking or jogging daily will keep your body fit. Hurry, worry and curry (food) are the causes of the disease. What is disease? The disease is nothing but uneasiness of mind and body. If you keep this in mind, there is nothing to worry.

That's a pretty serious question. There are no age boundary's for heart disease. You can look up symptoms, on WEB MD or better yet, discuss this with your doctor. This isn't a topic to fool around with for answers from people who do not know .

Doesn't sound like you have anything to worry about. But if you are as worried about it as you seem to indicate, I would suggest seeing your doctor

if you are smoking & drinking, and weigh 180 and have panic attacks, then yeah, you are pretty high risk
