there is. keep yourself healthy. try not to put stress on those things so much. if it is your time to leave this world, there's nothing we could do. make the most out of everything. try not to get too close to carcinogens, increase immunity by taking in vitamin C daily, eat veggies, fruits, not so much on the carbs and fats. exercise 3-4 times weekly. stick to anti-oxidants.=) if ever you are anemic, take in iron supplements or unless directed by your doctor. as much as possible, consult your doctor to check if you have any symptoms/signs of heart diseases or cancer. early detection will provide early cure. =)

I come from a family history of heart disease;both of my grandfathers,my father,an uncle,some aunts died of heart disease.My brother was diagnosed with heart disease. My father's mother died of tuberculosis;his brother died of a brain tumor.My dad lived longer than all his family members but he lived to be 75.My doctor told me to stay away from high sodium foods at an early age because too much sodium raises blood pressure which is bad for the heart.Eating foods like fruits and vegetables,whole wheat pastas,lower fat dairy products,lean meats and exercising will help your health.My maternal grandfather had congestive heart failure and did all of those thing;he lived to be 88 years old...he lived for 10 years with heart disease and stayed independent until the day he died.

Just as everyone else above has said, just stay healthy. You may have to sacrifice eating unhealthy foods but it may mean a longer happier life for you. Read! You can find information about everything if you read. Find ways to prevent heart disease if you can. My family has a history of dibetes, so I know how it feels to think there's nothing you can do to avoid getting this horrible thing and die from it. When it's your time to go, it's your time to go. So, pray and live your life to the fullest.

I do not what medical expert will say about this matter. I now my grandfather (mother's side) had the same problem but lived to 104 years old but died from the cat rabies. What he did was always stay active and watch the food he is eating. He concentrated his diet on vegetables and fish and stayed active (not to the point of exhaustion) as if he did not now his health problem.

people who die of 'heart attacks' often die because the shock of their heart stopping causes their lungs to collapse.
if you have a strong history of heart complications - as you seem to - it is probably going to cost you a few years of your life. but if you do your best to ensure that your pulmonary system and yout circulation both stay in good condition (light but regular aerobic exercises, keeping your weight under control, and most of all never smoking) you stand a good chance of making it into an early old age rather than popping off in your forties or fifties.
up until the nineteenth century relatively few people survived into their seventies. even with your poor health inheritance you stand a very good chance of leading a life which is long enough and full enough if you take moderate care of yourself.
