He had injury problems, and a rest of 3 weeks was advised. There are still two weeks to go for the World Cup, and then he could have been rested for the West Indies match, and possibly the next match against a weaker team. Then, he could have been back in action.

The indians are ready to begin their fight for the world-cup.The first warm up match would be against netherlands on 6th mar. Does anyone know the timings of the match, and on which channel would it be telecasted??

Individually they are some of the finest in the world but can they every learn to play together? Sacrifice oneself for the success of the team? Lay it all out on the field...diving and scrambling trying while fielding?

Indian batsmen are some of the biggest egomaniacs whom you'll ever see. All they care about is themselves trying to achieve one century after another...especially against the weaker teams. It is true that India has the highest ODI parntership against hte world...was it against South Africa? No. Was it Against Australia? No.

Sachin....how many game-winning, face -saving performances has he given us? A handful!!!! How many of his centuries has helped us win tournaments against upper tier teams like South Africa, Australia, Sri Lanka, etc? A handful!!! He may keep piling up his centuries but can he ever help Indian win the world cup and perform in clutch situations?????

Can this team ever perform under pressure? NEVER!

I wanna know what y'all think!

No intention to insult anybody"s sentiments but this team lacks professionalism. or will south africa or new zeland.

Acc. to me australian side is favouriate to win the world cup.

I think during his captaincy thay played hard as Aussies always do.

But certainly not FAIR, I mus say that Steve has lost my support as a fan of the game.I mean come on be honest he and his gang has sledge at every batsmen that comes into bat in every match it became a norm under his leadership and even when there were winning too.Using racist and provoking language. Why can't he just own up to that?

Everybody and Everyone who follows cricket and hav seen the Aussies play knows this.

Come on even blind and def people were in shock and awe by him and his mates ruthless way of playing the game.

I think the World Cup is now wide open, especially after Australia's dip in form, meaning they go in as one of the worst form teams. To be honest, I'm not sure who is going to win, although, obviously my heart says England, for some reason my head says New Zealand or Pakistan.
Also, potential man of the tournament? I think KP!
