FIRES THAT AMERICA CAN'T PUT OUT

Should you ever find yourself walking through the burned out forest in the dead of a very cold winter just outside what use to be Centralia, Pennsylvania, and feel like your feet are on fire, it's by no means an illusion. Just a few feet below the ground upon which you are walking, the earth is literally blazing with fire. It's an underground fire that now covers dozens of square miles.

If for example some scinetists found out that a asteroid was miles away to colliding in to planet earth with only 23 hours and 59 minutes and 59 seconds left to live with no guaranteed for 6 billion people on earth to live, what would you do? Would you go with the crowd going crazy stealing, killing, running frantically, or do what you ALWAYS wanted to do? Let your imagination be free, explain what it is..

Earth's weight is not constant. You may not find that in encyclopedias. Many factors like the electro-magnetic field create difference.Ayway I am asking for the latest result of calculations. Mention may also be made of the unit of measure. If there is nothing to say, or if the question is absolutely open-ended, please give reasons.I do not want to know the exact weight.

What is the world's largest known alluvial boulder ? I don't mean a solid stone mountain or hill (since that's not a boulder). Places like Ayre's Rock in Australia are one vast piece of stone. Nor do I mean a giant isolated piece of rock. By 'alluvial boulder' I mean a piece of rock, usually with rounded ends that is now located away from the bedrock away from which it came and which got there after water had formed its curved edges. No part of it is attached to other rocks.

Any suggestions ?

When two rivers merge, such as the Missouri and the Mississippi, they continue downstream as the Mississippi. The same is true for almost all confluences - the Wisconsin River ends when it flows into the Mississippi River, The Wabash joins the Ohio and they flow on as the Ohio. However, in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, the Allegheny River and the Monongahela River come together to form the Ohio River, with neither name carrying on downstream - hence the name "Three Rivers Stadium" at that point. Is there rule or a pattern for this? Is it the similarity of their sizes or the layout of the land or is there some other reason that I am unable to guess why they take on a new name at this point?
