Am I alone in thinking that Stacy and Clinton don't know half of what they profess to know on What Not to Wear. What qualifications do they have to be the fashion police.....Hello. What if their 'victims' don't like the choices made for them.

I caught up with the season by reading the synopses on hbo.com/thewire, but there is nothing like watching all the complex characters and plot interactions on your couch. I can't wait for it to hit DVD, when I'm going to hole up somewhere and cut off my phone and just enjoy myself.

Anybody agree with me that this is the most captivating series ever to hit television?

With today's digital technology, isn't it possible for cable and satellite providers to accurately measure what EVERY subscriber household watches at all times?

I think a lot of good shows are getting canceled because the "selected Nielsen viewers" aren't watching them. I wonder if, now that it's possible to measure a much larger set of viewers, we should do just that.

What are your thoughts?

This channel would feature shows like The West Wing, Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, Max Headroom, China Beach, Commander-in-Chief, Life as we know it, and other shows that required intelligence to comprehend and appreciate, instead of the mindless drivel that the networks keep playing to the least common denominator of the viewing public.

Oh, my proposed channel would have an outright ban on all reality and game shows.

I like this AMERICA'S PLAYER twist, I always wonder if Eric will succeed.
