Was anyone else disappointed in the episode of Desperate Housewives last night? I thought that they would continue on from the last episode of last season. Why did they have to fast forward six months ahead?

Has anybody visited Soap Central.com and tried to post a thread on the message board, only for it to be removed because you don't agree with the crusty middle-aged women who remember 'The good old days'?

an album of his own? Sort of like Lorne Greene's "Lorne Greene and His Western Classics" album? Man! I can't wait. Maybe he'll hum the theme song to Bonanza. Dum-da-da-dum-da-da-dum-da-da-DA-DA!

The DHARMA Initiative ( Department of Heuristics And Research on Material Applications Initiative is a fictional research project featured in the American television series Lost. It was introduced in the second-season episode "Orientation".In computer science, besides the common use as "rule of thumb" (see heuristic), the term heuristic has two well-defined technical meanings. Two fundamental goals in computer science are finding algorithms with provably good run times and with provably good or optimal solution quality. A heuristic is an algorithm that gives up one or both of these goals; for example, it usually finds pretty good solutions, but there is no proof the solutions could not get arbitrarily bad; or it usually runs reasonably quickly, but there is no argument that this will always be the case. A rule of thumb is a principle with broad application that is not intended to be strictly accurate or reliable for every situation. It is an easily learned and easily applied.

What was that all about! a boy who from being able to talk at 3 (or something) spoke of his life 40 years previously on an island off the coast of Scotland. Did that blow your mind or what. It has sure changed my views on life. I would be pleased to know about anyone else's views on it.

I'm a fan of the Food Channel and have "marginally" enjoyed her shows, especially her "$40 a day" show where we follow her travels to all parts of the country and the world, BUT....
are you turned off by her new show?
Do you agree with me that she...
tries too hard
talks too much
talks too fast
and very simply, is neither preparing herself nor her "hairdo" in order to present an image we will want to return to see again?
Or, is it just me?

Recently I updated my NTL anolog box to digital, since then I cant record a TV program while watching another TV channel.
I can only record what I watch.

I used to be able to watch or record channels 1 - 5 either on my video or my telly while I watched a different channel on my NTL anolog box.

Does anyone have a solution that will allow me to recored or watch channels 1-5 while I watch any other channel on my digital box.
