it was on back in the late 70's. All I remember is a show with a scarey dragon that lived in this box. The guy would open up the lid and the puppet dragon and all this smoke would come out of his nose. I think that would segway into another part of the show. The puppets reminded me of the ones from Banana split.

On almost any given weeknight, and any weekend, either AMC or Bravo has Silence of the Lambs playing. I enjoyed the movie. It is a GREAT movie, but why - oh why - must AMC and Bravo and other cable stations play it EVERY SINGLE DAY?! So it seems. Why?!?!

Let's try this again.

It was about a kid (late teens to early 20's) who would get inside a huge robot and would command him from there. The robot's head was the control room.

He would fight other robots that were evil. He had a girl friend who also commanded her own fighting robot but her robot was pink. I'm thinking this show was Japanese. I saw this cartoon when I was like 5 or 6 years old. This would have been during the mid-80's.

I would like to find out the name of this show. Thanks.

Additional Details

This show IS NOT Voltron. It was just one kid that controlled the entire robot. Voltron was several people.

And the robot was skinnier and not so complex as Voltron, Gundam, or Mazinger Z.

I signed up for this website, I got my headshot, made my online resume, and when I tried to submit myself for an audition...it said I had to sign up with an offer. Well I thought "ok..." i loved when they put the old guy in a big tube where he can't breathe, but what i loved the most was the tribute to Aaron Spelling and Dick Clark. i cried when everyone got up to clap for Dick clark, and i was sad when they talked about Aaron Spelling. Say goodbye to good shows!

I'm talking about Salute your Shorts, Clarissa Explains It All, Welcome Freshman, Fifteen, You Can't Do That On Television, Pete & Pete, Alex Mack, Ready or Not and etc....I can't remember them all! But these shows were the best! Now they don't have that many great tv shows ne more...if there's anymore you can think of let me know what was your favorite!
