Alright so it's 8:50 pm...and I realized that I want to extend my music interests (perfect timing right?) ...not because I'm bored with what I'm listening to but because I know there is music out there that people like because of their messages and their amazing talent in general. my friend recommended Slipknot...now I"ve heard of Slipknot before but I wasn't willing to listen to their music because I don't like songs I can't understand a word they are saying. But I took the time to listen to their songs...and to be honest...I liked it a lot.

So...influence me and recommend me some bands and tell me WHY you like them and what YOUR favorite song is by them.

My boyfriend is in the Navy and overseas and I am making a video of him and his son for Christmas but I want to put music over part of the video. I don't want anything super sappy or to make him sad, he's a very happy person and I want this to be an UPBEAT video. I just can't think of any songs that are fun and that would be appropriate for scenes where he is playing and goofing off with his son. He likes Incubus, Tool, Nickelback, etc...but also loves Jimmy Buffet, country, hip hop, classic rock...Can anyone help me find a HAPPY song that may go with this montage?
