I am a freshman and on friday in the girls bathroom at lunch when i was putting on make-up like i always do an 8th grader comes up (who was washing her hand) and says this 8th grade guy has a crush on me> This guy is very dorky but I am nice to him and he rides my bus. The other day i let him borrow my mp3 to take songs off of it, and at luch the next day, which was like wednesday, i walked up to his table with him and his too friends there. I said thank you and i told him i liked the songs he put on mine. And i saw his friends look at eachother like that one look other friends do when a person comes up to you that you like. Anyway i really don't want him to ask me out cuz i don't want to be mean and say no. But i definitly don't want to date him!!! Wut do i do? By the way i am popular and he is not and kind of dicusting!!! PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!! Thank you!

I know it's terrible and all, but men are also human. Do you think on some level they hate themselves just a little bit when they see the hurt in her eyes after telling her it was just casual, when he knows she really liked him?

I guess because men are'nt as hormonal and emotional and whatnot, they're able to bury those thoughts of self hatred.

I just don't think they're all completely selfish. Just mostly.
