I weighed 190 pounds at my peak weight, and have now slimmed down to 135. I look and feel great, but there's an extra bonus I didn't expect. People treat me a million times better now that I'm thin, make eye contact more, and make an effort to be friendly. I was pretty much ignored when I was overweight, and people definitely were a lot ruder. I can't imagine what it's like for obese people, given what a huge difference I notice going from slightly overweight to thin. Do you think prejudice against fat people is a problem, or is it not that big a deal?
