"Household work"??? ANY work. After delivering a baby the person must rest for a good amount of time. A week or so. Then, since there is a new baby in the household and family, and it is still the father's/husband's child, HE should take some responsibility. Such as doing some work around the house. It's only fair, the wife/mother just gave birth, and she STILL has to do a lot of work. If the man loved her, he would help her

NO I don't think it's okay for a guy to make his wife do the laundry the day she delivers a baby. She needs rest and time to spend getting to know her baby.

I say go ahead and make her do the laundry. We could use that kind of birth control.
100% foolproof, because you'd never have sex with her again.

I had 3 c-sections. I was not allowed to lift anything heavier than a pan of water for 6 weeks after each birth. Just thought I'd give you the heads up on that one...

Absolutely not! After having a baby, women need time to rest and heal. Expecting them to get back on their feet immediately to do the household chores you think are too girly to do yourself is a pitiful excuse for risking a woman's health. Have you no shame?

No and that i wouldn't in any respect ask her to. If she did I wouldnt even think of approximately it because it is a few thing that the two one people could cope with collectively as mandatory alongside with many different enjoyed ones chores.

Oh, how generous of you!

I had stitches from "here to there" with 2 of my 3 kids-- I was still in the hospital for a couple of days after each birth.
