So my cousin is a jahova's witness and he apparently told me he can't come to our 4th of july cookout/fireworks because its against his religion. He told me they are taught not to celebrate earthly governments. Is this the truth or whats going on here??

i will never ever forget this one .
when i was 17 i had a blind date . we talked over the phone for a few mths and we were supposed to meet for lunch and movie.. i wasn't up to his standard of beauty and he practically ignored me and he even said that he was waiting for his cousin then turned around and pretended i did not exist .. that hurt me so bad that i never ever want to date anyone ever.. haha
