Just because someone isn't pretty doesn't mean they don't have a good heart or just because someone dresses goth doesn't mean they are satanists. Why are people so superficial? Doesn't the inside matter anymore?

People are very shallow, really. Plus, it takes time and energy to get to know someone. Noone wants to invest that much into others. They prefer to just judge and move on. Sad, huh? Dr. Phil's show lately on the Dr. Phil house really proves this point. Everyone there was there because they have a problem with some other type of person: fat, skinny, black, white, gay, straight. These people learned a lot. Hope some viewers took notes!

yeah it does matter but you have to get people to see the inside that's the problem we live in a supeficial world if you dont' look like the models on tv or the magazine than why waste your time it's stupid and pathetic you just have to deal and show people the real you and hope they open their eyes and see you for who you are and open their ears and listen to how hot body looks isn't everything it's cracked up to be

If you're very attractive or very unattractive you get the same treatment. People tend to stay away, quickly judge, and make you an outcast.
If you're just general and mediocre, then you're accepted because you're on the same level.

beauty is in the eye of the beholder and only skin deep,what a person inside is whats important,we have to admit though when you see a person for the first time if they are clean and neat as compared to dirty and grungy you will be more drawn to them to me it isnt so much the clothes as their presentation and personality

I do see more of that now than I use to. Perhaps as children we were not taught what is shallow enough to make a difference between what is real and what is insubstantial.

some people are mean, cruel to others. because of jealousy or they don't have anything better to do but be hateful.
superficial people are losers .

yo man i hate that too. that is the reason its soo hard for me to find frnds that r like me. dun get me wrong. i have tons of frnds but they are not like me. out of like 20 frnds only 1 is a bit like me. even my sister is a typical..person. she is one of those people 'oh she is blonde so she is dumb'. i hate that (even tho im not a blonde). seriously u dun know them then dun talk like that bout them. who says brunettes are not dumb. im a brunette & im dumb!! the inside matters to me A LOT. i dun tend to judge people by looks. i'm with u on this one buddy.
P.S. finally somebody who at least thinks like me.
