Well, I was supposed to meet this girl for lunch, but when she arrived, she said she thought that I was my coworker and that was why she agreed to go out with me. She ate her lunch and left.

I think the only really bad thing that ever happened was when I was in middle school I was invited to a dance and when I showed up the other person didn't and I was told by one of my friends that the person in question thought that I put to much effort into getting ready for it and they picked to go to a movie with some other people who also stood people up instead of coming to the dance. Never went to any other school dances again because of that bit-- erm sorry can't say that on yahoo nevermind.
But hey I ended up being smarter for it and not trusting people as easy, and meeting some other people that I never would have met otherwise so... I guess it worked out in the end.

My blow-up doll left me for an inner-tube. She said he was a well-rounded guy, but I thought he was full of hot air. Well, the bubble burst and she tried to get back with me, but I found out that the inner-tube got her hooked on helium. She was too high all the time and I couldn't deal with her. She tried to commit suicide by jumping off a building, but she just bounced. Eventually, she got her life back together again and now she performs at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade every year. I cannot stand to see her as she strings along her handlers and I hope that some day her over-inflated ego will deliver her just desserts.
Turkey dinners depress me to this day.

I went on a date with a guy once (we'd been friends for a while and I really liked him). The date was really fun and we just had such a great time. When it was time for the kiss goodbye I didn't kiss him. I held his hand and hugged him but I didn't want to kiss him goodnight becuz I was nervous and becuz I didn't feel right kissing on the first date (even if he was a friend). Two days after the date he told all our friends that he didn't like me anymore becuz I was "Too Good". I felt so rejected and for such a stupid reason. He thought that I should have kissed him.
Guess I know what he was really after.

Wasn't rejected as much as my charming Ex Wife was hoping I would be. While attending her class reunion she became angry as it turned out I knew more people from her class (at the dinner) than she did. A couple were ladies with whom I worked and she was exceptionally irritated that I was having a good time rather than sitting in a corner with the other spouse's just muddling through the evening. She didn't get to be queen bee and it really ticked her off.

About your experience at the age of 17, that person was immature and acted very stupid, sorry. Don't give up on dating coz soon a prince charming will knock at your door.

Another blind date story. A friend of mine hooked me up with a friend of hers thinking we were the perfect match. Her and her husband came along with us and we had a double date. It was a disaster. We didn't get along, she was dumb and boring and I'm sure she thought the same about me. Two hours into it, my friend is doing the best to keep the small talk going. My date, my friend's husband and I are bored out of our skulls and want to die. Finally, my date gets up and says she's going to the washroom and will be right back. Ten minutes later, my friend gets a text message saying she took off and will pay her part of the bill next time she see's her. I was happy it was over with but it was still embarrassing.

When I was 13, I had a crush on a guy, I also was not up to his standards in looks, he started writing me notes saying he wanted to get to know me better and things like that and it turned out to be a big joke between him and his buddies, he was three yrs older than me so they all thought it was hilarious.

well, it was about 12 years ago. I put an ad in a local paper. I spoke with this person who told me that he was overweight. I stated that I was too. we planned on getting together. He came over. He was a porker but apparently I was super porker for he said "I did not know you were that fat." I did not see the turd again. I am in a very loving relationship now. as for the turd, I hope he is in the toilet
