I refer to heroin and crack (etc) users. Do you view them as a blight on society and the users not neccesarily punished, but given a boot up the backside, or should they be better understood and treated?

Mine is soooo funny! At a party we were playing and my crush landed on me...and then he flat out said "No"....then after a while he offered me a high five instead! I was crushed at the time but recently I saw a pic of him @ myspace (I haven't seen him in years!) and he is sooo ugly, I laughed for hours!!
