Sometimes. Like most people, I cruise through answers a lot more than I actually participate. Sometimes people seem so disturbed and full of hatred - that concerns me. Then there are people who seem to be interested only in sexually tinged puns - why bother?!? On the rare occasion, someone really sparks my interest in them as a person and I'll sometimes think about their question or answer(s) for a while.

Of course! I made quite a few friends on Yahoo answers, with some of them I often exchange emails and Instant messages (IM) on Yahoo Messanger, with others we have bi-lingual conversations or "lessons" in Sciences...
With some others, I started a friendship relationship which somehow ended bitterly for silly reasons, but it was still worth it!
