Yes, I did, on several occasions. One doctor kept me waiting for almost an hour and I walked out without a goodbye. I found another doctor and he treats me with greater courtesy. What gets me most is that you wait in the doctor's office for 35-40 minutes and then a nurse shows you into an examining room where you can wait for another 10-15 minutes. Then the MD pops in with a big smile and you want to punch him in the nose. The generally have several examining room and they run from one to another giving you a big 5 minutes....if you are lucky. This is the practice of medicine in America?

I was really little and I was with my mom. I walked out because I was nervous. It was spring break of the third grade and my mom thought I had strep throat. The doctor's offices had been closed because not only was it spring break, it was also Memorial day so all doctor's offices were closed. I had to go to the hospital, the childern's ER no less. I had never been to the hospital (except my first day in the world) and I was terrified. I threatened to walk out and my mom sort of laughed and said the classic "How will you get home; I have the keys?" line. I replied "I'll walk." and just walked out. My mom ignored me until she realized that I was really leaving and had no intention of coming back willingly. She chased after me and I was dragged back to the lobby where I waited to have a fat doctor shove a long stick down my throat, only to have shoved it in wrong, to make me vomit all over him. And then the medicine prescription the gave me gave me hives because I was allgeric...

No, but I have thought of sending them a bill for MY time that they've wasted. After all, I had a 1pm appointment and I shouldn't have to wait until 2:15 to get in.

Yes many times. You wait in the main room, then graduate to the next room, then if you get membership status and good insurance you may get to see the Doctor which always acts like your wasting his time.

Nope, I work in the ER at a hospital, so I know it can get busy and it's not their fault. I get very impatient, but wait. I usually just take out my ipod and play games while I'm waiting.

No, because they could probably still charge you for it - here you have to call 24 hours in advance to cancel an appointment.

No. But then my doctor is not very popular, so not many people go to her. I do only when I'm absolutely desperate. No other doctor will look after me =( Lack of medical facilities...
