It's pointless.
So no one buys gas for a day. Those who need it will buy the day before or the day after. It all comes out in the wash.
All anyone will be doing is giving the big wigs that run the oil companies a good hearty laugh.
And I'm paying $3.38 outside Chicago. It's expected to go up to $4 this summer and has risen $.20 in 2 days.
If you really want to stick it to the oil companies, use public transportation, ride your bike, walk, carpool, buy a more fuel efficient car... just think before you drive ANYWHERE.
