It's not about the points; it's about helping people who need it and learning something, too. I find it interesting the various points of view; some can be done
without. But for the most part it is fun.

Probably not. Unless I needed a question answered myself. Which makes me wonder. Why in the world is the "point system" so effective? I mean, the points aren't worth anything except for asking and answering more questions on this same forum, and for prestige. Why oh why is answers.yahoo.com so freaking addicting. I must rack up as many points and have as many "best answers" as humanly possible...

I didn't come for the points so I would still come if they took them away. I come here in the day to help with computer issues and to P&S at night to have a laugh and to let loose for a while.

Yes. I don't answer for the points. It's a great feeling to get a "best answer" but that's not why I do it. I want to share what I know and help if I can.

Ya...I try and help as much people as I can. Ya when I need help with something I type it in the search for question and most of the time they have it there. If not I click ask.

I'm still here and I'm Level 7, so to me points are, well, pointless.
I have never cared about the points, I like the q & a.

Absolutely!What can you do with the freakin' points anyway?I like hanging out with the people on here.It's very entertaining and I learn something new every day.

of course...its not like i win anything from these points..its just fun..same with the yahoo games..u get a rating but it doesnt mean anything..u dont win cash..its just numbers...i would still come on here
