I wanted to cry after reading the ending of Of Mice and Men which I finished about ten minutes ago. Other than Of Mice and Men; The Great Gatsby was a heartbreaking novel.

I love classics and each classic is sad to read but those two stand out the most.

My day sucked today. It started out with spring-break-drunk Santa hitting on me at the gas station then a pap smear and a evil dentist and my kid got stung by a yellow jacket then I burned supper and now tomorrow I have to go visit my mom in her new care facility and I'm really sad and depressed and I tried to go to bed and I can't sleep and I'm all out of questions after this one so I guess I'll just sit here in the dark by myself and cry.

How's that for pitiful?

I have been with this guy for 5 years now. I found out two days ago that he "made out" with another woman that I know. She is still calling him, and I have to be around her tomarrow. What would you do to her? I have already beaten his. Is it best to not say anything to her at all? She knew we were together.

Got a residual cough from a virus I had a week ago that only really kicks in when I lie in bed. Not had more than 3 hours sleep in a night for over a week. Have tried the normal remedies - alcohol, exercise, "herbal help", staying awake until I feel I will pass out - but NOTHING works! Any other suggestions??? I feel like I'm going mad...
