My husband just called me from work and said "If you want me to take you out to eat tonight, you need to iron me some clothes."

Pardon me?? Whatever happened to "Hey hon, can you iron my clothes for me please?"

I said "Honey I don't need you to TAKE me anywhere if I want to go eat, I'll go eat."

I am now horrified at what I did and I am deeply ashamed of myself. Just in case that happens a lot, it was sometime between 1979 and 1984 but its all a bit of a blur im afraid so .. sorry.

anything at all here are some of my examples:
-that phone companies want you to CALL them if your phone has been disconnected
-Tarzan lives in the jungle yet is always clean shaven
-when you drop something, it always seems to roll to the most out of reach place
-when you have a subscription to a magazine, it arrives in the mail with those pullouts to buy a subscription

I have many favorites, but I think I would have to pick "The Christmas Song." I love Nat King Cole's version...."Chestnuts roasting on an open fire, jack frost nipping at your nose, yuletide carols being sung by a choir, and folks dressed up like eskimos.

There were some Nuns selling cookies for a church charity outside a dept. store. No one was buying, so I tried to give them some advice and one actually threw a box of cookies at me. I told them, look Babes, if you send some good looking nuns and have them show some skin, you will sell all these cookies, they didnt' wanna do it, it's their loss.

a couple months ago, this girl i only knew for like 2 weeks offered to pay my cell phone bill, and even offered to let me move in with her.

Because i am a real man with a job, i turned it down. why would she do something like that?
