After reading some responses to my previous question, i was inspired.

Is it true that some people can't help ignorance?

I beg to differ.

The world has come pretty far with books, magazines, newspapers, activities, the media, the internet.

I'm almost 100% sure ignorance CAN and SHOULD be prevented, not accepted.

I'll admit it's a person's choice as to whether or not they should open a book or seek knowledge, but i also think those people should keep their mouths shut.

I am going to my brother in laws and his wifes house for the first time this weekend and want to take a gift. She is very hard to buy for but I know for a fact that she likes desserts. Which of these do you think is the best gift to give them?

like if they say something that could be insulting, do u think they didn't really mean it, or if someone does something that could be thought of as hurtful do u give them the benefit of the doubt that it's not?

I wasn't going to ask this but i had to.

When i heard about Michael Richards' little incident, i must admit that i have never lost as much respect for someone i've never met as i did then.
I think it should made clear that Richards is a Jew. Now i say this for a very important reason. When he insulted the black man at the Laugh Factory, he should have taken into account that what he did could be compared to someone making fun of Jew. Instead of bringing up lynching, someone could have said "60 years ago you would have been in a concentration camp."

Yes, it's just as profane.

I can't believe how angry i am. I think ignorance is so prevalent in today's world and i think people should be tried for it.

It's so detrimental to society.

y do pple get offened wit racial mixing? eg in the movie hitch, eva mendes was given the lead female lead role in hitch bcos the director didnt want to offend the vewers with a black/white mixing. what is so wrong with that?i mean are we not all equal?

I find it very upsetting and ridiculous. Some of the sites are just full of vicious and degrading statements. Do most people honestly feel this way? (I'm talking about the sites that have opened because of the OJ book.)

when i was a kid a "friend" i had, told everyone i invited to my birthday party not to come. i was upset at my party cuz no one showed up at first but then one of my friends came and told me what happened. i got over it but it's funny how even little kids can do sneaky things like that. and for no reason.
