I find it very upsetting and ridiculous. Some of the sites are just full of vicious and degrading statements. Do most people honestly feel this way? (I'm talking about the sites that have opened because of the OJ book.)

All ethnic groups are doing it. Such cruel things are being said about everybody and especially the families of the victims and OJ's children. I have never in my life seen such a vicious free for all

Racial viciousness is upsetting regardless of flavour.

Particularly within Yahoo Answers. I think that people are more interested in defending or garnering support for their opinions, than they are in learning anything at all.

I haven't seen any but I am not surprised, there have been some vicious racial comments made on this site, before the OJ issue came up. We have to remember that theses sites are open to the general public and it takes all kinds! Anyone who hates a specific group of people because of color, gender, social status etc.....has serious relationship issues with everybody! Peace!

I am sure there are a lot of people having a field day with it and I am also sure there were a lot of sites like that before this whole mess started again. I have never liked displays of hatred like that...growing up in the south I got to see a lot of that on a daily basis and hated it then too. Nothing justifies being cruel to another human being just to make yourself feel better no matter what!
However I feel there are enough good people in the world to help balance out all the vitriol spilling out on the internet as well as real life.

It's sick. But it's not new. I somehow managed to find a forum run by neo nazis and you should have seen the hate that they were pouring out. One of the forum administrators called himself Oven Commander another guy HitlerYouth1488. These guys are real holocaust denying race warmongering scum it made me feel physically ill. It's been going on for years and years and years. Unfortunately with the freedom of information we are given by the internet, it allows a small minority of lunatics to trade their hateful views. Nothing we can do about it really though.

Hon, I am white, but in my heart I have always felt black....I grew up on my fave shows like the Jeffersons, Sanford and Son, Good Times.....lol....and I was always taught to never, ever make fun of someone else because of their color, religion, or disability.....and I am still a firm believer in that....in high school, I got into an enormous fight with another student because they made fun of my black friend.....and I will still defend black folks too...so yes, I am tired of racism!!!

I am totally turned off and feel angry by racial hatred... have to remember though it is only words and some people say crap to get a reaction
