I am a Music Education Major. However, I am starting to think that I have neither the money nor the stamina to take the 153 credit hours needed for my degree. But at the same time, music is my life. I need advice on finding a suitable degree involving music that will let me graduate in 4 years instead of 7! I haven't been able to find anything so far. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hello,
I am looking for a good keyboard to practice with, and to hook up to my computer to create music using software on my PC. I have heard that Yamaha keyboards are usually better than Casio (more professional, better sounding, etc). But I would like to know if the PSR-295, which has less keys, and is not a workstation keyboard, would still be better than the Casio WK110? When answering, please state some reasons why one is a better deal than the other.

One thing that makes me want to go for the WK over the PSR is the fact that the WK comes with an adapter and stand, while PSR does not come with either.

Both are stated as having touch sensitive keys.

The way one sounds over the other is not as important to me as the physical quality of the keyboard (as, I will be doing most of my recording with it hooked up to the computer).

This is for people who have actually tried both keyboards of these models (if you have not tried these models, then please don't answer this question).

if you know the answer for my question, thank you very much...
but first, if you know this song, will you tell me it's title or artist?
it goes like this:
"I ONLY SEE WHAT I WANTED TO SEE"
or was it:
"THEY ONLY SEE WHAT I WANTED TO SEE"
then some parts of the song are humming of the female singer...

thank you!

My grandmother just passed away on Tuesday. I am having a really hard time getting over it. So to help me cope I am putting a memorial up on my myspace for her. What are some songs relating to death or angels.

Preferably country or rock!

thanks all!

Jackson Browne - The load out
Jackson Browne - Stay
Incubus - Love Hurts(I know there's no piano in this song, but I know there's a piano version out there...somewhere!)

I've been searching for these songs for several days now. I can't find them anywhere without having to pay. I would SOOO appreciate if you could find just ONE of these songs. Thank you so much!!

i can't remember a song that i always listened to. it was about a year ago when my ipod with the song was stolen (the song was from my friend's computer and it will be quite difficult to ask her what the song is.) i think the artist/ band name may begin with an "A". it had a very fast beat to it... that;s why i listened to it over and over again in the first place. sorry i can't provide more details :(

im making a photostory about phillis wheatley and i really need some good music. i want a violin solo or a song in french, german, latin, or the like. none in eglish, chineses/japanese/korean or spanish. piano solos might work also, bit id really like a violin/fiddle solo. if theres a song in another language, it cant be a band or anything like that, it can have piano or violin but just a singer (preferably female)

It was a song that came out between the years 2001-2004. I saw the video on MTV's "You Hear It First". It is a girl dark hair,,, she was from a different country, cant remember which. THE VIDEO was her falling from the sky slowly... and parts of the lyrics I believe were kind of graphic.. and sexual.. and she kind of talks instead of sings in some parts.

I havent been able to find this song or artist in so long and it is absolutely driving me insane. music lovers please help

I love the song but it can come across as somewhat "perverted" Is it between a teacher and a student?..where he knows he cannot have her as she is only 16?...Is it a true story that he is telling of himself..just curious.thank you

I took piano lessons from my mother, a piano teacher from the time I was 8 years old. My parents were strict and cold and forced me to take them. When I was 8 I started listening to songs on the radio and playing them on the piano by ear, complete with chord progressions. My grandmother (dad's mother) told me I had a natural gift and that I should keep playing. She played piano beautifully by ear and often played for community theater productions.
But when my mother heard me, she became very natty and angry and would snap the piano lid shut so I couldn't play anymore.
She only wanted me to adhere to strict sheet music reading which was very difficult for me.
Now I am in my twenties I want to go back where I left off and start playing again but Im not sure where to begin. Im so afraid I have completely lost the gift I had for music. It makes me sick. Has anyone else ever picked it up after giving it up for so long? And if so, how did you do it? Thanks
