I was wondering if people could really get my old memory of 90's music back up with the best of the 90's rock music thats around the same period and relates to music that sounds like "You Get What You Give" from the New Radicals.

I get that cable car in about the singer and his brother in a fight but where does the 'with 8 seconds left in overtime she's on your mind' come in

I get that awakening is about rising above the trials of the worls, wanting something more and being born again. but what does 'i wanna live like i know wen i'm leaving' and 'im bleeding' refer to

in tonight if he says he's placed all his trust in God why does he say in the next line, 'the only thing worth holding onto is holding onto me' why doesn't he say he should hold onto God?

I heard it when I was like 9 years old-- I'm pretty sure it was vertical horizon singing. I think the chorus had something about elephants falling-- and pianos-- or something... I know I'm not much help-- but if you have any idea-- or even a suggestion-- I'd appreciate it. : )
