I get that cable car in about the singer and his brother in a fight but where does the 'with 8 seconds left in overtime she's on your mind' come in

I get that awakening is about rising above the trials of the worls, wanting something more and being born again. but what does 'i wanna live like i know wen i'm leaving' and 'im bleeding' refer to

in tonight if he says he's placed all his trust in God why does he say in the next line, 'the only thing worth holding onto is holding onto me' why doesn't he say he should hold onto God?

thanks a lot for your help

Over My Head: I didn't know that it was about a fight, but it makes sense when you put it that way. "With 8 seconds left in overtime..." could mean the time you take when you think about something. "She's on your mind" is the first thought you get when you obtain the 8-second moment of thinking.

Awakening: I love the video. But anyways, let's say you realize the day of your death. When most people would receive that information, the first thing they would do is not waste life away. "I wanna live like I know when I'm leaving" basically means is that he wants to live life to the best of it. The part, "I want to know that my heart's still beating, it's beating, I'm bleeding" seems to show that after taking all that fun for life, he wants to know if he's still alive. Even if he's bleeding, he's happy that he did what he did.

Tonight: I'm not a Christian or anything, so this could be my wrongest interpretation. Taking God as his savior (god, I hope that's right), he now knows that he has to fix himself as well before letting God fix him...ah, I have no idea.

To me it in basic terms ability being conscious. The greater conscious the greater wakened. i think of the greater conscious we are the greater we understand that undefinable enlightenment. less difficult pronounced than finished to be conscious. After a undeniable factor its sparkling that many of the idle issues we do all day are no longer basically unmindful yet they pollute the floor wherein mindfulness is cultivated, (If existence is chaos and confusion and a non-end circulate of repercussions then its no longer the finest element to do to sit down down quiet and return to the breath.) this would properly be a extraordinary place to be, whilst each and every thing that regarded actual and widespread and from a touch deluded attitude "top" without warning will become the booze imbibed via he who's conscious he has a eating difficulty, if that makes any experience.

Sometimes you just gotta stop analyzing something to death. Most artists refuse to reveal what or who they write songs about because it takes away from your perception of what the song means. Instead of trying understand every line or asking a public forum the meaning of a song none of us wrote...sit back enjoy the music and relax.
