Movies - 15 October 2006

Does anyone out there know if there will be a 4th Fast and the Furious movie? The sequels weren't as good as the first one, but I'm still intrigued to see what else they have up their sleeves. I was just wonderin' if anyone had a clue, if there was another one, who would be in it, or what the plot would be. If you know, you should clue me in, thanks!

I'm a huge HP fan, and I think novels are phenomenal. I thought the first two movies were also very well done, in that they stayed true to the books, had coherent plots, and exhibited fine acting. In the latter two movies, though, it seemed to me that there were a lot awkward moments that weren't very well acted. I can't really put a finger on anything specific, I was just wondering if anyone else had this same impression.

I also thought the 4th movie had an extremely strange plot. Of course I've read the novels many times, so I understood what was supposed to be going on. But if I hadn't read the books, I'm not sure I would have been able to identify any meaningful plot. And the ending is so abrupt, it's almost like they were trying to shove you out of the theater.

Is there anyone who saw the movie but didn't read the books that can confirm or deny these impressions?

Her mother did exorcism on others, right? So when she got the evil spirits out of the victims, why did she have to feed it to her? She couldn't have got rid of them in another way? The husband killed Kayako cause the evil spirits in her was getting out of hand? I don't get it...Lol.

I thought Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson made a cute on-screne match, McConaughey and Sarah Jessica Parker in "failure to launch," on the otherhand, was sooo fake...no chemistry at all.
