Does anyone know what happened to the sections of Metropolis after the Americans edited it in 1927? I know which bits are missing, cause a summary is included in the DVD version's intertitles.

a cardboard cutout of Ted Danson. You can tell this is not the case due to the fact that the eyes follow the actors across the set. also the "cardboard cutout" is not in the first frame of the scene when the actors walk by the curtain the first time (the gun is, though). the little boy/cardboard cutout is not there until they walk by again in the same scene. If it was a cutout as is suggested it would have been in the scene from the beginning.

OMG!
i loooooove RENT
i bought the movie almost a month ago and i have watched it everyday since...
can anyone relate?
i love it sooo much...
i even have "your eyes" as my ringtone and my voicemail is "you're living in america, at the end of the millenium, you're living in america, leave your concience at the tone." which i recorded from the movie.
am I too obsessed or is there another person out ther like me?
