i know the effect the band nirvana had on music in the early 90s and onwards, but i'm always surprised at the kind of love nirvana fans still have towards kurt cobain... nearly 14 years since he passed away. because he was an influential rock god? what other reasons are there to explain this phenomena? ^_~ i personally got into nirvana very -very- recently, and just saw some videos of the band - on interviews cobain struck me as very humane, despite the adolescent type of angst nirvana usually expressed in their songs. down to earth, and spoke so intelligently. i also heard he was against homophobia and sexism, so haha he still totally appeals to me as an individual even now. what are your reasonings to the kurt cobain obsession that still continues today? what does kurt cobain symbolize for today's generation?

I don't understand Oprah Winfrey's popularity or vast fortune. She is just another interviewer as far as I can see. She asks softball questions and is not confrontational. And, I don't find her funny. What makes her so great?

We accept hardened criminals who have found jesus christ after killing a family and Oprah will say he is an okay dude yet the political correctness crowd is calling for the lynching of michael vick even after he get 23 months. I have known people who have go less time for killing a human being.
We have the Hollywood crown Mike Farrel, Ed Asner, Susan Sarandon who want to free a convicted cop killer. Mike Vick should be punished but he made a mistake and there will be atonement.

What he did was wrong , but it was just animals . What about Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton they drove drunk more than once and could have actually killed a human being . Lohan got what ? 8 hours in the can Hilton got 8 days or something . Thats really messed up .

Okay, please forgive me if I am mistaken, but in the song "We Got the Party"...where Miley sang with the Jonas Brothers...did she kiss Nick during the song (on the cheek). She raised her foot like she was kissing him, but I don't know. So, if you were there...please fill me in on my wonderful question. So, if you HAVEN'T seen that concert, here's the URL.
