Once upon a time Lars Ulrich and Alexi Laiho decided they'd become a metal White Stripes cover band. (Why? Sheer boredom) After playing a few gigs and making an LP, the duo gained their biggest (and most annoying) fan, Avril Lavigne. She was trying to trade in her wanna be punk persona into a wanna be metalhead persona, so she started listening to Lars and Alexi. Although they were constantly pestered by her, the guys were a bit happy to have gained a fan. Over the next few months, Avril really grew on them. Soon, she became one of their most trusted (and annoying) friends. Then one day, while updating his blog, Lars read a bunch of comments on his latest post, entitled "Our Biggest Fan". Every single one of the comments said the same thing, Avril was obviously using Lars and Alexi to become likeable again (at this point the band was quite well known). Lars and Alexi took a few minutes to sink this in and realized the comments were right! The next day Avril was zapped into the 6th dimension by a raygun and never heard from again.
