I don't understand Oprah Winfrey's popularity or vast fortune. She is just another interviewer as far as I can see. She asks softball questions and is not confrontational. And, I don't find her funny. What makes her so great?

She is the American Dream. She was brought up dirt poor and had nothing handed to her. She is an inspiration to so many people. She had a hard knock life growing up but didn't let that bring her down, she is using her money for good and for the betterment of society...yes, occasionally she gushes over celebs but she herself admits that she is no Diane Sawyer.

What's not to love, you can simply tell her your dog died, she'll give you a new house, car, and all the money you want. She has soo many great interviews, lots of hot guys on her shows, and she GIVES AWAY FREE STUFF!! come on, you know you would love to get a free car from oprah! Am i right?

I was asking my mom that the other day. I dont get it either. People are always like I love Oprah I watch her show everyday. I dont see whats so great about her. I dont care for Oprah.

Its more than that, she donate, help people out, invest u know those humanity things makes you respected and people love those kind of people. Rather than just make a lot of money and do nothing.
