What is this movie its really bugging me :( spoiler warning?

IT involves 2 kids who become friends and one is a boy who wheres glasses
The girls dad works in a morgue or something I think (not sure)
and these are some evenst that happen in the movie
-she begins puberty (and get squite scared in the toilet when it starts)
-she maybe loses a ring in the forest when with her friend?
-her friend has glasses and he goes looking for her ring and gets stung by bees and is killed and his mum gives her the ring back in the end
it was a bit of a sad movie and i think the title had the word she or her in it and was maybe the line of a song?
Argh please help :(
