surprisingly, i find that the men's advice is much more helpful than the women's! especially in the singles and dating section.

I don't think you can generalise like that. There are milliong of women in the world, maybe they answered another question brilliantly.
I think it is the person. I have asked questions here on Yahoo Answers, liked some answers dissapointed with some, never took gender into account.

I see no difference, and there really shouldn't be. These questions come from a broad range of categories, so both sexes have a chance to excel. Now if most questions were about cosmetics or auto mechanics, then there might be a slight edge.
But it's pretty even!!

i might say females... if it has to do with something emotional, gentle, or approximately emotions. females are basically greater attune to "looking after" anybody or something.. .that's a girl's place to be the Nurturer, the Care taker. we are born to shield folk in an emotional experience, and consequently we are reliable at expertise and attempting to help them. a guy might supply greater perfect advice if it had to do with working, occupation, money, funds, autos, hobbies, etc.. issues that would desire to do with being a Bread winner, or making judgements. a guy's place is to be the pinnacle of the kinfolk, convey homestead the Francis Bacon, and make judgements that impact the kinfolk as an entire. a guy could be gentle and cerebral, in spite of the undeniable fact that it is not his #a million purpose to be gentle.

Women/girls exaggerate waaay too much. Men seem to just tell you how they feel and give true advice.
